Hello there sweet friends and welcome to Thunderhill Candle Co. Michelle here, the maker behind Thunderhill Candle Co. Let's get started with a little walk down memory lane. Thunderhill Candle Co originated back in 2021 and was inspired by one of my families most cherished places on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This exact place is so near and dear to our hearts. A place of healing and a place of rejoicing. A place where we renewed our wedding vows. We’ve conquered loss here and we’ve prayed for hope and peace. A place that continues to give us this sense of peace as if we were right beside Jesus soaking in the gorgeous backdrop and all of Gods most spectacular creation. Almost 15 years of marriage and two beautiful children later we continue to thank the good Lord for all of his most precious blessings. Thunderhill Candle Co really came to life when we had our double rainbow miracle baby boy. Years of loss, infertility and so much brokenness we see Thunderhill Candle Co as a perfect way to show just how beauty can come from the ashes. We were so thrilled to welcome this little one to our family and yet there were more trials we hadn't expected when he was born. He spent a week in the NICU with respiratory issues and at 1.5 years of age was diagnosed with asthma. Already we have had such a good handle on cleaner and much safer products to have and use in our home. Having a child with asthma can often be scary and to know that we can be apart of creating a safe home for our children is so incredibly special. Here at Thunderhill Candle Co our candles are more than just a candle but a  source of light and an invitation to experience something even greater than you can imagine.
